Design Museum

The brief was to re-brand the Design Museum taking into consideration its future move to the common wealth institute.

My solution focused on the idea of details and the design museum offering an experience that encourages the audiences to look closer at everything because everything is designed. The concept is based upon a system of cropping and macro shots starting with the Design Museum logo itself and then other photographed objects alongside the slogan 'LOOK CLOSER'.

Stokes Of London

Brand identity for a London based piano tuner.

The brief was to produce a website and identity(logo) for an established business within a classic and very specialized sector of the music industry. Wanting to portray a classic warm and approachable feeling as well as looking established and professional with a touch of luxury links that are inherent to the profession of piano tuning. Due to the nature of the product and services being provided.I choose to focus on the name rather than the cliche of a the instrument or tools of the trade to communicate the clients needs and services.

The colour scheme of black, white, grey and purple again are in response to other piano tuning websites and literature that I found wanting this company to stand out from those in the same field i chose to use classic schemes with a purple that seems to evoke luxury while at the same time being approachable and standing above its competitors.
